DentMul — Teledentistry Early-Screening Platform
A teledentistry web app for online early screening of dental complaints, connecting patients with dental clerkship students at RSGM Universitas Mulawarman.
DentMul is a teledentistry platform that lets patients complete an early screening of their dental and oral complaints from home, before ever setting foot in a clinic. Patients fill in a structured complaint history (chief complaint, duration, pain scale), medical history, and upload photos of their condition. Each submission is then reviewed by dental clerkship students (co-assistants), who categorize the case and send back educational guidance and follow-up recommendations.
The app is built around a role-based system for three user types — Patient, Co-assistant (Koas), and Admin — each with a dedicated dashboard and workflow: patients manage their screenings and consultation history, co-assistants review and handle incoming cases, and admins manage user accounts and monitor system activity.
Built with Next.js 16 (App Router) and React 19 in TypeScript, featuring Auth.js (NextAuth v5) authentication with email/password and Google sign-in, a PostgreSQL database via Prisma 7 ORM, photo storage through Supabase Storage, and a clean, responsive UI powered by Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.
