Android, idea to Play Store
Fresh builds, or new features on an app you already have. Kotlin, Compose and Material 3 — and offline-first when it counts, because plenty of your users are on one bar of signal.

taking on new workI'm Fauzan, a Kotlin developer from East Borneo. I build Android apps with Compose and Material 3, plus the web tools that keep them running. Most of what I ship gets opened every day at a school or an office.

what I do
Android is home turf. The web shows up whenever the app needs a backbone.

Every app needs a place to pull its data from and someone running the show. That's where admin panels, dashboards and small internal tools come in. At Kopegtel it was an attendance site, plus a Telegram bot that pinged technicians before anyone had to pick up the phone.

Apps never really stay finished. Play Store rules shift, a new Android drops, a dependency quietly stops compiling. I spent a year doing exactly this on a school site — and honestly, I'd rather be the one who already knows where everything lives.
about
I'm Muhammad Fauzan Gifari Dzul Fahmi, just Fauzan is fine. I studied Information Systems at Mulawarman, and these days my editor is mostly Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Right now that means two things: a mobile engineering internship at Mamikos, and the mobile information system for SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda, which I've been on since the very first requirements meeting.
The web stuff isn't a side quest. At Kopegtel the team needed a better attendance site, so I rebuilt it then wrote a Telegram bot so technicians stopped being the last to hear something had broken. Android gets the exact same treatment: understand the problem first, ship something small enough to check, then keep it running.
Before all that, I spent three semesters as a lab assistant, walking fifty-odd students a week through material I'd barely finished learning myself. Best crash course in explaining a system I've ever had no project has come close.

Not every tool I've ever touched — just the ones I actually open most weeks.

experience
The last few years, newest first.
Six roles in three years, most of them squeezed in alongside a degree.
Mamikos (PT Git Gow Ayo)
Interning on the mobile team behind Mamikos, the app people across Indonesia use to find and book a kos.
SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda
Building the school's mobile information system end to end from the first chat about what it should do, through the screens, the code and the testing.
SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda
Kept the school's site up and fresh for a year: plugin updates, theme fixes, and the never-ending trickle of content changes nobody ever puts on a calendar.
Kopegtel Group Samarinda
Rebuilt the internal attendance site so logging who turned up stopped being a daily chore, and built a Telegram bot that pinged technicians before anyone had to make a call.
Bangkit Academy 2024 Batch 2
Six months deep in Android, capped off by a capstone built with teammates from three different tracks. It cracked the top 50 in the product programme.
Information Systems Practicum
Ran weekly sessions, post-tests and final assessments for around fifty students at a time. Great practice at explaining something until it finally clicks.

When we were kids, a lot of us had this dream like, “How cool would it be if i could turn my hobby into a job?” If you loved drawing, you probably wanted to be a comic artist. If you were into gaming, you dreamed of becoming a pro player. If you enjoyed cooking, maybe you imagined opening a cute little cafe.
